Injured, the baby ibex had been recuperating on the steep rocky wall of the gorge leading towards the Badang area of Kibber for three days. The hours spent awaiting the snow leopard’s strategic move created genuine suspense for the wildlife watchers perched atop the cliff. On the fourth day, the snow leopard cub made a skillful approach. It inflicted another injury on the weakened ibex, which eventually succumbed to exhaustion and plunged into the river. The event unfolded as a captivating spectacle, rich in emotion, blending both violence and natural beauty.
