Photography Tour
Jigmat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography (Hons.) from the University of Delhi and a certificate from Apex Academy for Photographic Excellence in Delhi. Jigmat also bring his academic and practical expertise in his work as a photographer. His photographs have been published in the famous Vietnamese travel magazine, “Travellive Magazine” (2018) and he has been the winner of the “Shining a light on the Cryosphere and Society in the HKH” for his photographs themed “Ice and Life: Impacts of Cryosphere Change” and “Adaptation: Zanskar River, Ladakh, India” organized by the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) in Kathmandu, Nepal, as part of the “International forum on the Cryosphere and Society” in August 2019. He has also worked as an assistant photographer to National Geographic photographer, William Thompson (2015).
